Graduation Application Help

PAGE 1

  • Print your name exactly how you want it to appear on your diploma
  • Biology majors apply for a B.A., Microbiology and Medical Technology apply for a B.S.
  • List your current semester courses and courses you plan for the future semester (if you are not sure exactly what courses you will be taking, put in your best guess; if you end up taking something different from what is on your graduation application, then you will just need to fill out a change of graduation application form).
  • In the next section, you will calculate the total number of credits for your degree.  “Number of earned credits on transcript” is the total number of credits you have earned thus far, including transfer courses already on your UM transcript (“Overall Earned Hours” on your transcript).
  • All credits yet to be completed:” for “semester,” put Autumn, Spring, Summer, or Winter; for “year,” put in 2007, etc.; for “credits,” put in the total credits for that semester.
  • To calculate total credits for degree, add your earned credits, each semester’s credits to be completed, incompletes and N grades to be completed, and transfer work to be completed, and put this total under “total credits for degree” (must be at least 120).
