Welcome....

Welcome to the web pages of the Fungal Ecology and Biology Lab at the University of Montana! Our lab is focused on the ecology and biology of soil fungi, with an emphasis on  arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF). We are also initiating projects involving ectomycorrhizae.

Please note that in Spring 2007 Matthias Rillig will move to the Freie Universitaet Berlin in Germany. You can look at the new lab pages for Berlin here.

To find out who's in FEABL, what we have published, and what our research is all about,  follow the links on the left. To look at a bunch of lab pictures, go here.

Should you browse these pages to look for potential graduate studies opportunities, please follow the Graduate Studies link. For job ads, check News/ jobs.
